Steve Pidcock, Owner
With nearly two decades managing retail tire stores, Steve Pidcock has come to intimately know how to run a successful with running a auto repair shop. So when he decided to venture out on his own, he came up with a conservative three-year plan to open Hotshots Automotive Inc. nearly debt-free.
Cutting his teeth as a drivability technician, Steve eventually worked his way into management. While working as a manager at Columbine Firestone in Littleton for 16 years and three years at the now-defunct Stonegate Great American Tire.
Steve first leased a small space within a Centennial body shop for three years while he looked for a permanent location. Eventually, however, he was able to purchase an empty, newly constructed 4,400-square-foot building right across the street.
After managing technicians for many years, Steve really knows how to leverage his technician staff, and is fully aware that each is different and unique and has strengths and weaknesses, playing to each. Steve believes that the key is to keep them growing and learning new things and that fostering a team environment encourages them to help each other.
Justin, Service Manager
Justin began his automotive career in 1995 by working in a Firestone. He was promoted from a general service technician to sales person and then to a Tire manager all while working his way through college. Justin obtained a Bachelor of Science in business management in 1998 and continued serving the industry after college. Justin perfected his skills working for a nationally renowned independent service facility where he perfected his customer service skills as well as obtaining an Accredited Automotive Manager degree from Automotive Management Institute. He also helped re-write the test for service consultants from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in Herndon VA. He has experience in consulting as well as in management outside of the automotive industry. Justin enjoys watching football, camping with his family and enjoying live music. He has been a part of many volunteer organizations and brings excellence to everything he does.
Wayne, Service Adviser
Wayne started his automotive career in 1989 with Ford Parts. He continued with Ford parts for 12 years. He then started is Service career in 2001. Wayne is Master Certified in Ford Service, Master Certified in BMW Service. Wayne also has experience with VW, Toyota and many other makes and models. Wayne was born and raised in Nebraska, and has lived in California, Alaska, and Nevada. He enjoys snowboarding, camping, football, volleyball, hunting and pretty much anything outdoors. Wayne also has family here in Colorado including 1 daughter, 1 brother, mother, nephews and nieces. Wayne is a great addition to the HotShots family and he brings many years of experience and personality to the business. Wayne is here to provide Truly Exceptional Service and has proved in the past that he can provide that for our clients.
